Black Diamond Vari-width Dogbone-18cm Reviews:

I wanted to have a few extra long draws so I picked up the 25cm and overall they are good but really wide which makes them a bit heavier. I would recommend these for sport routes where you need a slightly longer draw, would handle well on edges.

I have two 18cm dogbones with BD positrons for my anchors and they work flawlessly. The rubber end keeps to rope-side 'biners in position while the loose ends let the anchors pivot well. Seem to hold up great to some tough granite. A great buy!

Bought these to make some longer draws with extra wire gates I had. These dogbones are awesome. The straight jacket keeps the biner still when clipping to the rope. They are just a great value, and I highly recommend them.

Love nylon dog bones- so much less twisting than the dyneema versions that it's worth the extra weight. I use the 18's for anchors with a couple locking biners.
