Black Mountain Tactical 3-Gun Competition Case Reviews:

Very well built and holds everything

I chose this model over smaller cases because I wanted to be able to fit my tac gear as well as other firearms. The first time I took this out to the range, I was able to load it up with: Main Compartment
- Mosin Nagant
- AR15 Carbine
- 12 guage with 20" barrel
- Marlin Model 60 External Pouches (removable)
- Ruger SR40
- Ruger LCR 38 Sp
- Ammo (excluding shotgun shells) Attached Compartments
- Targets (folded paper and steel plinking)
- 5 30-round AR mags
- 3 SR40 mags
- Cleaning kit (basic)
- Tool kit (basic) I am not kidding, this thing holds everything but the kitchen sink. Of course, it was pretty heavy, but the built-in backpack straps makes it a snap to haul. One trip to the range already proved it's worth to me as it replaced 4 soft cases, a make-shift ammo bag, and fumbling around with loose targets on a windy day. I will be purchasing a separate ammo bag to help reduce the overall weight, but even with everything I mentioned, I personally was able to manage moving it around without herniating anything. Keep in mind, this case is a monster at 50" long, but it easily accommodates and protects not only tactical firearms, but full-sized (longer) rifles. When empty, it folds up a bit (in half, but doesn't lay flat. If it stored a bit flatter, it would get a 5 star rating, but given the fact that I don't have the choice, I would give it a 4.5 stars.

Tons of storage space

Just like the other two reviews state, this product has a TON of room making the overall weight very heavy! The case is very big in my opinion, but given the amount of storage, the monster size is expected. It holds everything in place very well and is comfortable to carry with the help of the attached backpack straps. The materials look and feel very durable and it handles the weight with ease. I would not go as far as calling it a "TACTICAL" case but it will carry ALL your gear in one convenient haul.

This is the case!

I love this case. It's heavy duty and will actually hold 4 guns! It also gas a pistol pouch. You better man up if you fill it up with guns it gets heavy.

Negative Reviews:

too big too bulky

Wish I had not bought it. I thought it would be better. It was marked way down, is why I bought. Too bad
