Very Good Quality BusBar
I am building an off-grid power system and needed busbars for the cables from the battery bank, solar charger, generator and 2500 watt true sine wave inverter. You will notice the current number of terminal posts works out perfectly. I will have to double up on a post when I add the wind generator in the future. This is a very good quality product that is easy to install and work with. I wish they would offer this in 6 and 8 post models for growth, but that's just my concerns. I always turn to West Marine for quality products. Sure, you can probably find similar buses elsewhere but the description and detail of products is worth giving West Marine my loyalty. I have learned a lot from West Marine's online descriptions and videos of products I use on and off my boat, these buses are just one example (They are also on my boat from the boat manufaturer).
I got it to replace the Blue Sea Systems negative bus bar in my 25 foot cruiser, the base of which had deteriorated mainly from battery acid coming in contact with it. The old bar was in there for 6 years and I am sure it would still be there if I had been a bit more careful in keeping the battery shelf that it was mounted on clean. Pricey but I guess you get what you pay for and I didn't want to cut costs on the electrical system.
The plastic terminal cap is sold seperately, I also got that but feel that for the price of the bar they should include the cover.
Tidy re-wiring project
Wiring on 1979 yacht a mess, this allowed complete re-wiring in a more coherent and easy access.
Great busbar for linking multiple batteries in a battery bank to a multi-bank battery charger.
Blue Sea busbar
Well made product. Exactly what I needed to terminate connections on my Duck/Bass boat.
Allowed water proofing and a very tidy access to equipment.
Cover it for Safety

Well made and effective cover.
