Great Accessory

I bought this as an assist for shooting stability from sitting and lower profile shooting while predator hunting and for practice. It is inexpensive, light weight, easily adjustable and rugged. It compresses with the legs retracted to about 18 inches, has a rubber arms to rest the gun on and extends to about 40 inches. It has performed great and is easy to adjust to an acceptable height when hunting. The plastic legs feel a little flimsy but have been fine for me so far. The red foam on the legs is helpful for finding the bi-pod when I set it down and easy to cover when I need to stay hid with sports wrap to match the season and camo pattern for the area. Overall, it isn't a tri-pod with better stability, but for moving quickly, light weight and an inexpensive rest for hunting or target shooting, I would recommend it!

great buy

Very pleased with the performance of the bipod. I initially bought this to use for coyote hunting in the winter months and ended up using it on a recent mule deer hunt. It was nice to remove the traditional bipod from my rifle cutting down on weight and making it easier to slide into the scabbard on my backpack. I was a little nervous at first as to how stable it would be but i was able to make repeatable 670 yd shots from the seated position at targets with no issues. I'll be looking at getting the tripod next to add to my gear bag. It also doubles nice as a walking stick in rough terrain.
