Walking, Standing, It Works For Both

I use these shoes the past few weeks for work. I work in an office, however, my office is set up as a standing office so I'm actually on my feet all day working on a computer instead of sitting down. I walk about 15 minutes, catch 2 trains for about 30 minutes, then walk 2 more minutes into work. Then I stand 9 hours and go home. Standing in general is a hard thing to do, but I got these because my previous shoes REALLY hurt my feet when standing and I wanted a comfortable pair good for walking in rain but also good for standing at work. This works for both. I am only less than 165 lbs so not sure how it would work out for someone heavier. These aren't "comfort shoes" but they are comfortable enough for me to stand for 9 hours and get home without feeling absolutely terrible like I did with the other pair. It is soft all the way around the ankle, so it doesn't give ankle or leg sores like I got from my boots which dug into my leg.

Love these loafers. They're so comfortable. I haven't taken them off since putting them on right after they were delivered. As for sizing, all my other shoes are 7.5-medium width, but I got these at size 7. My other two pairs of loafers are 7.5 both of which I use a lot during winter when I wear double socks and they fit correctly. These pair I intentionally got at half a size smaller (there are no .5 sizes anyway) and I compared them to the other two size-7.5 loafers and they're about the same length. The only difference is the width. I wear these with only one pair of regular hiking socks now that it's summer. I had tried wearing them with no socks, they still felt comfortable and just right. Must be the garters on the tongue. One wish: Bogs should offer these in dark green and dark brown as well. I'd buy both.

Great shoe

I wanted a shoe to wear for winter commuting that was easy on & off, not bulky, and had good traction. This shoe fits the bill perfectly. Keeps my feet warm & dry in wet/snowy conditions when I take the train to work. Not for deep snow, but for walking to & from the train and work it's perfect. I am a female with a wide foot, so I ordered the men's shoe and it fits great with a pair of lightweight wool socks. The shoes have very good traction on wet, snowy sidewalks and parking lots. These are now my go-to shoes for taking out the trash, getting the mail, running errands, and going to work in the winter. Very happy with them. Perfect choice for me.

I wear these to feed and water the alpacas and chickens. I wear them to walk the dog on slushy/muddy dirt roads. I wear them when I ride my bicycle on roads with puddles. They stay dry unless I go in deep snow or deep puddles- for that you need boots. They fit tight enough to not flop around, and socks stay up, but have plenty of room around the toes. They are comfortable for walking or standing.

These "rain shoes" are an excellent value. They are completely waterproof, very comfortable, easy to slip on, and perfect for most rain conditions. They have a large toe box, and look sort of clownish, so don't buy them if you want something super stylish. But, for rain gear, they are excellent and the comfort and function more than outweigh any style concerns.

I loved these shoes the minute I put them on. I bought them for my walk to work in bad weather. They're great for keeping your feet dry. The only downfall is that they don't breath much and can cause sweaty feet.

Unbeliveable!! How great these shoes are

I work in a dishroom. I went through 1 pair of kitchen shoes, 1 pair of boots. The kitchen shoes were not waterproof. The boots were too hot. The Bogs Urban Walkers are great. I'm surprised how much support they have. Mick

Great for wet or muddy environment. Fits snug around the ankle to keep the elements out. comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. No arch support to speak of.

Warm & comfortable - looks are better than the pictures. Very happy with these. Also own some of Bogs high boots used in snow and they are great as well.

Warm and dry

They are designed to be used in cold weather, so when it is above 60F inside, my feet get a little sweaty. Otherwise they are great.

decent but not great shoes

though the actual exterior is waterproof, the way the shoes are designed, the lining tends to wick water into the interior, where it naturally gets stuck by the rubber outside
