Soooo good!

I've eaten a lot of energy bars in my day, and most of them taste exactly like what they're made of... which in the case of Bonk Breaker is a great thing!

Just tried the Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate Chip bar on a 45-mile ride. Gotta say, it's the tastiest bar I've ever eaten, and I am definitely buying a box of them on my next trip to REI.

Best energy bar I've tried

I've tried almost all the energy bars out there but this one is by far the best. It tastes great, it is moist - not dry, satisfying without being too filling and doesn't sit like a brick in your stomach. I eat them when I mountain bike and it gives me energy for several hours. Great bar!

Possibly the best energy bars available

I consume a lot of energy bars, gels, snacks, cubes, blocks, etc. Bonk Breakers are, by far, the best tasting energy food I have had in recent memory. They have a terrific taste, excellent texture, and are easily digested during strenuous exercise.

All Natural, Really, Really Good

PB&J is my favorite flavor. They taste like mom's cookie-bars, a little under-cooked (meaning, really, really tasty!) They are made with only a few, simple ingredients - so more natural. These have become my favorite energy bar food.

The Best Bar Ever!

I eat one of these delicious bars before a hard run, I am able to push harder and longer! I will eat one during a long bike ride, it keeps me going, and keeps my energy up!

Best energy bar, Period!

I use this bar when biking, hiking or rock climbing. I also use it as a snack on off days.

Best energy bar I have ever tried.

Negative Reviews:

Smells like plastic

This bar is pretty gross. First off, its initial smell is terrible in that it smells like some weird chemical plastic. That alone almost kept me from even trying it. But I did take a bite and it tasted like jelly soaked oatmeal. It had a light sweetness and maybe a hit of peanut butter, but in the end it was very bland. It is way over priced for its value and quality. I will be avoiding this bar in the future.

Neutral Reviews:

Didn't go down easy...

I ordered a few products for fuel on a 24 hour mountain bike race I participated in in February. Some other reviews have said these bars were moist and easy to eat, but I did not find that to be the case for the blueberry oat bar. I tried to eat it about an hour and a half before my 10pm lap and was only able to eat about half of the bar despite being hydrated. I learned a lesson not to try new things on race day! These would probably be fine if you were sitting around with plenty of time and water on hand. For me, I did not find them to be usable as a quick energy boost.

plain tasting

I was hoping this tasted good. It is on the bland side, not sweet nor tasty, but good for a snack on a daily bases. Down side is I was dissapointed when i took a bite. It tasted like a powderey power bar, made from powder. That's what I noticed first. powder tasting. It's a nice size bar for saving some for later. I ate this on an empty stomach, was not happy with the taste, plain, boring. The almond butter and honey was interesting to eat. I can taste the almonds and it's good for those who like something not sweet and plain tasting to fill your stomach a little.
