| Excellent edging shoe! I've used the Mad Rock Flash and the Five Ten Galileo before and after some initial apprehension about the rubber, I have to say this is the best shoe I've had on my feet so far. I still think the Onyx rubber on the 5-10s is better, but the Crux edges much better regardless. If you are used to smearing small footholds, you will hate this shoe initially. Give it a chance and as your technique improves, you'll fall in love with it! One note on sizing. I wear 9.5-10 street and my feet were literally blue and in severe pain in a 9.5 initially. After a month, I can go for an hour or two without taking the shoe off if needed (~1/2 size stretch). | |

| A sensitive shoe. Slightly asymmetrical, very precise. I like the placement of the straps, especially the one higher up allows you to fit the heel and arch snugly. The tongue is fat; it seems to add some comfort, without any loss of sensitivity. Like all Boreal shoes, buy them in your street shoe size, they will be very tight at first, but will stretch about 1/2 a size within a month of heavy use. | |
