Positive Reviews:

Love these shoes but am having to exchange for smaller size I take a 6 1/2 but no half sizes so ordered a 7 but it does not fit at the heel. If no 1/2 sizes, wish it would say whether to order up or down.

These Born sandals are very comfortable. I did not get blisters or have any trouble just putting them on and wearing them out of the box. The color is not a true red, more of a brown-auburn color, though. They are a great purchase.

These Born Kates are a good looking sandle. My only concern, if you have a wide foot. Mine is 8W. It is a little snug thru widest part. Otherwise I love them and many compliments. Perhaps I should have gotten 1/2 larger.

Negative Reviews:

Comfortable, beautiful sandals. Poor design for on-and-off ease. The snap tab on the back strap is narrowest where it folds over, so opening the snap tab does not actually create any room to help ease the shoe over one's heel. One has to shove one's foot way to the front of the sandal so that there is room for the heel to come down into the shoe, and then one can move one's foot back into position. This just serves to make the front looser and looser over time. Not a smart design.

Neutral Reviews:

I have tried so hard to love these sandals but have had to send all of them back (tried both size 6/37 & 7/38 in every color). On the plus side the style is adorable; the look of the Greek sandal is only lacking a toga. Cute! On somebody else. Maybe. As I write this, I am still debating whether or not to keep either the navy, the brown, or both. I'd be keeping Black, if only they offered it. To be clear, I wear a 6.5-7.0 and have a high arch, high instep, narrow heel, and forefoot that tends towards the wider side of normal. The 6/37 was too tight across the forefoot, and difficult to get on because of what I consider a design cannot open up the shoe to get into it because the velcro strap isn't designed to do so (see other reviews), plus, the back of your heel is pulled so far forward because of the back of the shoe (design aspect) that it is difficult to get your heel back where it belongs in the shoe. When I sized up to the 7/38, the sandal became too long, too loose, and my heel (with the shoe on) was nearly 1 inch in front of the back of the shoe (heel leather forces your foot forward). I don't know how the model in the video got her sandal to fit so perfectly, but it sure doesn't look as nice on my foot. As with another reviewer, I wish these were offered in half sizes, perhaps that would have made all the difference. I still absolutely love the look of these sandals, and sure wish I could justify keeping at least one pair. Two other, the Grillio color is dark greay, not black, which is the color I really needed. Navy is very dark, almost black. Two, there is almost no cushion in the forefoot and only a very small, 1/4" cushion at the arch...nothing that offers any real support. Not so sure how they'll feel after several hours in them. All in all, with just a few tweaks, these could be a big winner for me. I see that they have been a great choice for many others! Hope my review is helpful.
