Born Marxia Reviews:

The middle section of leather isn't true black, it's more of a dark carbon gray/dusty black. It's best seen from the side view (4th) photo. In the pair I received, there is a clear contrast between the toe/heel black leather and the middle "carbon" leather. The leather was quite stiff and the top edge was a bit scratchy. The fit was also very narrow. I usually wear 8 M, but ordered 8 1/2 (since Born are known to run a bit narrow) and found the shoe to fit pretty narrow - especially at the arch (I don't even have particularly high arches), wearing a not-too-thick pair of socks. It's too bad that they dont' make a slightly wider fit. The outsole has a very nice texture - probably my favorite feature. The sole is not very cushy or flexible - although it's probably pretty durable. Seems like it would take a pretty significant break-in period. Overall, the look was too masculine and made my foot look bigger/longer. Just beware that these are basically combat/moto boots. Returned.

I absolutely love these boots! They look even cuter in person. The shoes are soft but durable and have great traction, and the lining is super soft. Just beware of the sizing. I am between an 8 and an 8½ but I had to get a 9 for these boots since they run a bit small and perhaps slightly narrow. That said, once I got the size right they are extremely comfortable and I could walk all day in them with no break-in. I do not even want to take them off at home. Definitely buy these if you are considering it!

I love these boots! They look badass, but still cute. I wear a size 8 to 8.5, so I ordered an 8.5 & they fit fine. My feet are average width & these boots do feel narrow, especially across the ball of the foot. They feel snug putting them on, but fit like a glove when I zipped them up. After a couple of hours, they started feeling looser & more comfy. I was able to walk around in them all day at work. They might be my favorite boots ever! Zappos customer service is awesome!!!

These boots are really comfortable and offer a lot of support. They are also very stylish and lend themselves well to skinny jeans. They did, however, take a couple of times of wear to break in, but once they did, they are great. The leather is very nice as well. They are very well constructed. I envision them lasting a very long time and becoming an all time favorite, since they can be worn both casual and dress up.

These boots look great and are so comfortable. I wore them on a trip to Manhattan. I walked miles in them (new) and never got a blister. They really supported my arches as well.
