Born Mott Reviews:

I finally accepted that my favorite 2.5 inch heeled booties were causing my terrible foot pain, and that I needed new shoes for everyday wear. These are great! The style is fairly simple & cute; I wear them with ankle-length skinny jeans, wider leg pants, even skirts. They're not exciting but I do think they look nice. Above all, they feel almost like sneakers in terms of comfort. Most days I walk at least a mile, sometimes as much as 4, and I am comfortable in these all day long. As for sizing, I typically wear 7.5 or 8 in Born, and ordered the 8 in these, which fits perfectly with lightweight socks. My heels are quite narrow while the rest of my feet are normal width, and I have high arches, making me a bit difficult to fit. Because of the laces, these don't slip on my heels at all, and the arch support hugs my feet so they don't hurt. I often have trouble with my baby toes rubbing the side of the shoe & developing big painful calluses, but these are wide enough (without looking wide) that it's not an issue. Might even get another pair!

I LOVE this shoe! I've wanted a good quality oxford for years...really wanted the Frye James, but couldn't afford it. As another reviewer said, this is just as good but way more affordable! Break in time, yes. But I wore around the house with thick wool socks for a couple of days and they're fine. I love that they're lined in real leather with a bit of cushioning, too. My usual size is 7.5 and it feels true to size for me. Only two wishes: quiet soles and better arch support and there's almost none. This is a very well-made, sturdy shoe that I'm sure I'll have for years. Would love if they offered a nice brown, too!

I absolutely love this shoe. It is so comfortable and just the right heel height so that its not flat. Looks great with slacks jeans and leggings. Runs a little large so I would size down about 1/2 a size...but if you like to wear decorative socks (and I do) it works out ok. Would buy in black as well if they had it. :)

I love these shoes, super comfortable. But beware; the dye in my blue jeans has totally stained them!
