Positive Reviews:

For the most part, these were out-of-the -box comfortable, and while I think this style runs true to size, I found the height of the toe box a bit too low for my taste. It is possible that my foot size is changing, though, so I wouldn't say it is the shoe. The sole, shape, structure--all the comfort I have come to rely on Born to provide.

This is my second pair of Born's this season I ordered (these just went on sale). I went to Seattle for a Seahawks game, walked all around Pike Street Market, the game, etc. My sister who was wearing Clarks (no offense Clark) complained the whole time that her feet were hurting. My feet felt like I was wearing a good pair of tennis shoes. Love the style.

Negative Reviews:

Born seems to be crafting their shoes narrower than before. I have another pair of Born shoes that are the most comfortable shoes that I own. Unfortunately, this pair I could barely squeeze my foot into! It will be a return.

Neutral Reviews:

When I saw this style, I had high hopes that Born was once again making the most comfortable shoe in the world. Sadly, I must to say that is not true. Toe box is tight - not the nice roomy one that made the "European" shoes so comfortable. I have a high instep and finally cut the elastic just a bit hoping it would open up the shoe. That relieved some pressure off the arch, but toes are still tight. I optimistically purchased two pairs and will most likely be sending one back. I give it credit for the quality and support as the shoe is lined and has good padded footbed. I wore and loved Born shoes for years and then recently the quality seemed to fall so I started trying some other brands. I have yet to find anything as comfortable as the old Born shoes. I have also worn and loved Josef Seibel, but they have priced themselves right out of my budget. This looked like a good basic "comfort shoe" but so far it is only moderately comfortable.

I bought these for work and had high hopes for comfort but instead was in pain. The shoes were very narrow (I don't normally have a trouble with width) and my foot felt rather cramped in as well. The shoes were very rigid and stiff and the heel felt bulky. I was so uncomfortable in them I had to send them back.
