I like these shoes, very comfortable right out of the box. I have slightly narrow feet so I did not have to move the buckle, perfect fit. The 2 inch heel is also very comfortable. I feel like I am walking on air in these shoes. I got a pair in black and they go with just about everything, and they look good with shorts, jeans or a dress. The toe strap bothered my big toes only a little and that was after a long day of walking. I think these shoes are stylish, fun, cute and again very comfortable. Of course Zappos rules because I got the shoes the next day.

Love this shoe - The Born Piper is the perfect everyday sandal. I did not need to break it in. The first day I wore them I walked all over Carmel in them. They are the most comfy shoe I own right now. I want to get them in white also. They look great and feel great, you can't ask for more than that. I wear a size 5 and they fit me perfectly. You really can't go wrong with Born, they are a little pricey, but well worth the money.

I would love my Born Pipers, except for one problem. First off, they are very cute and seem well put together. And they are quite comfortable except for one problem. There is an obtrusive seam in the insole right beneath the ball of my big toe. This gave me a blister on my the very first wearing; still irritates my foot on subsequent wearings. Either the seam is being worn down, or I am getting a callous, as it does not bother me as much now.

I love Born shoes, have at least 5 pair. Wore one pair throughout miles of walking in Europe, two separate trips. Never got a blister and they were brand new (usually a bad rookie move). These shoes are no different. Comfortable as soon as you put them on, no wear-in time. They are exactly as they appear in the picture, color and style. Very cute and much better than the usual flip-flops.

My feet are in love!!! I ordered the brown pair and love them. The leather is so supple. Insole is so soft, like walking on a cloud. Incredibly lightweight. No break-in for this style. This is a very sexy sandal to be worn casually or dressy. (I am already the owner of the Piper in colors black, ivory & gold.) I would love this sandal in red!!!

T Towns Born Piper - Awesome little sandal. No need to break these in, but then, I've never had to break in any Born shoe. Very cute with just about anything you wear. I found that these are a little smaller than the actual size (but nothing you can't get away with) and a tad narrow. Not made for a wide foot.

Overall, I really like the Piper - very stylish. Unfortunately they are not as comfortable as I would expect. They are narrow so my feet end up on the edge stitching and the toe ring is a bit too far forward. I wear them a lot because they're so cute but I couldn't spend the entire day in them.

I own several pair of Born shoes and I have always found them to be comfortable and well made. These are no exception. They are true to size and require no break-in period. Make sure the toe pieces are sewn on straight and in the right place to show off your pedicure.

Comfy and cute - These are comfy and cute. The only thing is that you can't really tell from the picture, but the stitching is like a tan/brown...I didn't like the stitching at first, but it grew on me. Otherwise they fit great and are really comfy.

Original design - I always gravitate toward Born shoes for their original designs and overall comfort; however, these sandals aren't as comfortable as I had hoped. I still like the design though and versatility - you can throw these on with just about any outfit.

I wanted to like these sandals and have them fit! I love toe-loops on sandals - I think they look a bit funky, especially if you have a nice pedicure. I have owned many Born sandals in the past and I have loved them all as they are very comfortable. However, with this sandal, the toe loop is totally designed to be in the wrong place. The sandal was the right size - neither my heel or toes were hanging over the sandal, but the toe loop is positioned in such a way that it covered my toenail - too far towards the front of the shoe and it looked weird. Also, I would venture to say that with just the loop and the one band across the instep, there is too much wiggle room for my foot and I think my foot would tend to slide sideways. Back they go. I’ll try another style.

Born's Piper - I was hoping this pricey shoe might have a little arch support. No such luck. The shoes were also narrower than normal, so it looked like my little toes were falling off the sides. Not overly attractive! I probably could have ordered the wider size, but they just weren't worth it. I was not in love with the look or feel. They appeared to be good quality construction, but I had to send them back.
