BOSS Black by Hugo Boss Metrios Reviews:

Negative Reviews:

Purchased these shoes and was super excited. Received them and noticed how poor of a quality it was. Hugo Boss has let me down. I returned the shoes immediately. The shoe was stained brown - okay fine, no problem. The stain from the rim of the sole was spread over to the actual shoe in the front. The discoloration was very obvious. The patterns all around the shoe were discolored. Looked like a horrible staining job. The outer layer was dark and some of the holes were left unstained. Poor quality. Hugo Boss is really slacking. Bring back the quality!

Neutral Reviews:

I have been on the look for a dressy, elegant wingtip for some time. Given that those were on sale I decided to give them a try. First, the service - as always, Zappos did an extraordinary job! Second, the shoe itself. Style-wise, I thought that this model was way too elongated. Traditional wingtips tend to have some elongation, but certainly less so than some pointier styles. I personally find this shoe to have significant excess of length, giving it a somewhat distorted look. Other than that, I felt the body of the shoe was well-made - the leather is soft and delicate, decent quality for the (reduced) price. The rest of the shoe is elegant. So, if you do not mind the extra length that takes away from the classic wingtip look you may like this shoe. One other thing that I did not particularly like is the color of the sole. I got the brown version and the sole is black, giving the shoe a more cheapish look. I prefer brown soles with my brown shoes. Again, this may be a personal preference issue. Unlike the other reviewer, I did not see any issue with discoloration, or altogether anything wrong with the leather. Like most Boss shoes that are made in China (and are relatively cheaper as a result), the inner sole leather lining of the shoe does not go all the way, which usually results in the lining rolling up within a few week's of wear. Overall, at the reduced price, the shoe is probably worth the money and it is a matter of personal style preference whether you should buy it or not.
