| After researching a number of treadmills, I decided to go with this one despite some of the negative reviews on the site. Needless to say, I'm glad I did! I haven't had a hint of a problem and love how smooth and quiet the motor is. | |

| I bought this machine 3 years ago and has been a problem ever since... Immediately [...] we noticed that the fan in the console was broken, [...]Over a year later, the machine froze during a routine workout; Bowflex customer service diagnosed it as a failed motherboard and charged $250 to replace this part,[...]Less than a year after that, the same thing happened and they again gave us the same diagnosis that we needed to spend another $250 to fix again. Even though we argued that their warranty covers parts for 1 year and our replacement motherboard should therefore be covered, they refused to fix the machine and replace the part again free of charge. I would never recommend this machine because of the problems we have had, and the Bowflex customer service is even worse. If you are brave enough to buy this product, I would strongly recommend the extended warranty! | |

| This thing is junk. Do not buy it. The motor seems ok, but the design of the electronics is poor. They use one button for both the "enter" key and the "begin cool down" key. Therefore if you want to change the speed from say 4 mph to 5 mph, you hit 5 enter. Most of the time it enters the cool down mode and slows you to a walk in the middle of your run. | |

| This thing smelled horrible. The belt tasted like rubber. I was jogging on it and the belt snapped and I fell. My face hit the torn belt. Cut me badly and I refuse to ever purchase anything by Bowflex except for scrap. | |

| I got this machine in Warwick RI. The day I got it home it smelled a bit funny as it ran. Within 12 uses the motor nearly caught fire and the belt was torn. Do not copy my mistake. | |
