Nav-Mat III

I put a Garmin 255 and put it on the dash of my Ford SD. It stayed put except for our travel on a washboard gravel road. It bounced around a little but never fell off the dash. Granted the dash has an indented tray in the middle of the dash that would keep it from falling off on all but the most violent bounces. For a smooth or non-trayed dash, I don't know if there would be enough grip to keep it in place or not. I never use it in one of my vehicles and my other already has factory navigation. So in my truck is really the only place it will be used. I still think it is a pretty good product.

best Nav Mat to date

I drive throughout the country for work so being able to transfer my navigation guide from vehicle to vehicle is paramount. The navigation Mat I have been using was sufficient but lacked some features I desired.this Mat has enough weight to stay on the dash and keep your device at an angle at which you can see it. I was concerned as to whether the suction cup mount would stay but have had no issues. In fact it stays on this Mat much better than it ever did on the windshield.

GPS holder

I like it. I can have the GPS operating on the dash when needed and have no suction cup marks on the windshield when it's not in use.

Must be better options

Purchased for use with a Garmin nuvi 50 GPS. The Bracketron mat will not stay in place so that the GPS is visible on the dash of my pick-up, even on Interstate highways.
