| Seriously cute shoe, but with a few issues. Seeing the the Braqeez Iba shoes was love at first sight for my daughter. Her current favorite color is red, but she doesn't like red shoes with her school uniform. They have the elastic band of her beloved now discontinued Palladium kids slip-ons, red trim, tennis shoe like sole, velcro, neutral main color. My 8 year old has a narrowish foot that is very easy to fit. She finds most things comfortable and is pretty easy to please. Issues: the elastic zigzag band was exceptionally abnormally tight for the size of the shoe; that was her only issue. My concern: there is little to no padding in the footbed and little to no arch support. Otherwise they seem to be well made, sturdy and are are of course, darling. I'd have given them a try anyway and would have taken them in to our local brilliant shoe surgeon - uh, shoe repair man - to change out the elastic for a longer one, but she fell in love with another pair in the order and wasn't interested in pursuing it. | |
