Very comfortable

Rating:****
I use these with heavy work books. They cushion well, keep my feet cool, and so far have kept them dry. They stay up without constricting my calves like all my other socks have. No 'sock leg' when I change to shorts and sandals. I don't do lots of walking, but I do a lot of kneeling and stretching without them bunching or slipping.

Great socks w/ a lot of cushion!

Rating:****
Great for adding cushion inside your boots. I have not wore them in really hot weather but I think they are better suited for cold to milder days. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe but should have gone down a size for a snugger fit. I will purchase more of the smaller size.

Favorite sock ever!!

Rating:*****
These socks keep my feet warm indoors without wearing slippers. I love them! They also keep my feet perfect temp in heavy boots, dress shoes, etc... The best thing about them is that they are not too tight on top around calves. The knit around calf is soft and not restricting. A++++

Love this sock!

Rating:*****
Love that the sock fits true to a small and great for people with small narrow feet. Very comfortable not bunching up or pleating and doesn't hurt toes. Love the colors and the fact it keeps the temperature comfortable.

comfy

Rating:****
Went canoeing in Chicago in April with them-wet and cold. Not only did they keep my toes warm when throughly drenched, I had none of the typical "wet sock" discomfort. Hopefully they will perform as well backpacking next weekend!

Very Comfortable

Rating:****
Went hiking with socks and loved them. Very comfortable and didn't sweat in them. They are very cushioned and I thought I would sweat, but didn't. I am glad I bought two pairs.

Very warm and comfy socks.

Rating:*****
I wear these socks in cold weather with crocs and around the house. They are warm but breath well so my feet don't sweat like with pure wool socks.

great

Rating:*****
I wear these around the house and with a few of my earth shoes that are too big. they are thick so they were too tight with some shoes.

Great Hiking Socks at a Fantastic Price

Rating:****
These socks are great! I've bought a ton of Bridgedale socks in the past. They are warm, cozy, and great for hiking!

Bridgedale rocks !

Rating:*****
Bridgedale seems to understand just what it takes to make a superb sock...comfortable, durable, moisture-controlling and just plain great to wear.

Negative Reviews:

[...] quality socks. Lesson learned.

Rating:*
These socks look great in the photos, but don't waste your time and money. The elastic band at the top is a joke, and the socks fall down around my ankles. Yes, I'm thin, but not THAT thin! Come on! I should have stuck with Smartwool, which has always been reliable. I've learned my lesson, now. Not the end of the World...but I wouldn't recommend these low quality rip-offs of the brands you trust.

Not for Narrow Feet

Rating:***
Really disappointed with these socks. I love Bridgedale socks but not these. They are very wide in the toe area and the toe seam is very thick. To me these socks fit more like men's socks than women's. I couldn't wear them at all with my hiking boots. On the plus side they are thick so they should be very warm and they are very soft.

Outstanding blend is a stretch

Rating:***
Not as warm a blend or as snug as expected.
