In addition to the great anatomic construction associated with previous Bridgedale ski socks, this Women's Lightweight Heel Fit Ski sock has contoured pads along the ankle, heel and shin area for increased comfort during long days on big mountain resort runs. Bridgedale added anatomic compression along the calf area to help conform the fit to your individual leg shape. This is a great ski sock for women skiers of all abilities, especially if you have ski boots with good insulation or prefer to ski later in the season when the temperatures are less frigid than early winter.
The Heel Fit gets beefed up with additional underfoot padding for increased comfort. The resulting Precision Fit offers all the warmth of a midweight sock but with 50% less bulk. This comfortable performance fitting sock is a great choice for use with snug liners. Made of merino wool, Endurofil (a polypropylene thermal yarn with high wear resistance), and LYCRA®. The graduated compression enhances calf comfort. Mapped toe and forefoot cushioning provide extra warmth. A shin-pad cushions the boot tongue area. Female-specific design and shape.

| Bought the socks for backcountry ski use - and used them for a week long backcountry ski trip in Canada. The socks fit very well (provided extra support/padding for my heels - which are quite prone to blisters due to heel lift in my bc boots). Definitely read the bridgedale recommended sizing for these socks...I am a 6.5 shoe and would've ordered the small (out of habit) - but glad that someone else made the comment about this and I ordered the mediums - perfect fit! | I do not ski, but these socks are the best in comfort and warmth. The fit is perfect and no noted seams. They are soft and not itchy or drying. They are much more comfortable than Smartwool which feel too tight at the band. | |
