AWESOMEEEEEEEEE

Rating:*****
Don't buy these, so I can get some more! haha Just joking guys, these socks are the best I have every seen and as an avid motorcyclist I have tried plenty. They are really nice because of the extra padding at the shin and ankle areas. If your chin hurt after a day of skiing, snowboarding, motorcycling etc. these are your socks. I wear a 9-10 US mens shoe and bought these in a medium and they fit perfect! So they might run a little big, either way they do stretch.

Great value, nice socks

Rating:****
Good fit, not too thick--extra padding at shins, toes and heels add comfort, elastic holds up against arch for non-slippage. If not pulled on tightly at toes, some bunching occurs by little toe. Have worn 3-4 times, so far no sign of wear (I would hope not). I have skiied for decades, and currently go 10 times or so/year. There are probably better high end socks out there, but for the price (they were on sale) these are all I need.

Ski Socks That Actually Fit!

Rating:*****
These are great socks at a great price! Many brands of ski socks fit poorly. The most common problem that I have encountered is that most do not pull up high enough over the calf to obtain a good fit between your leg and ski boot. These socks fit perfectly and pull way up on the calf and shin. I will definitely order more!

Great socks!

Rating:*****
I bought these socks for my son who is a Chef in the Sugarbush, VT. area and is an avid skiier. He's had these same socks from Birdgedale before and loves them. He tells me that they are the most durable and comfortable ski socks he's ever had. I wish I'd gotten him two pair. Great sock at a super price!!!

Good practical socks for the snow.

Rating:****
The socks were purchased for my daughter Mietta, she does not feel the cold too much,so i needed snow quality socks for her Snowboarding, that did not make her feet overly warm. They passed the test and kept her dry as well.

Great socks!

Rating:*****
My family and I all used these socks on a recent ski trip to Banff during the Christmas holiday. They functioned well in cold conditions and I would highly recommend them to any active skier looking for a great functioning product.

Good Fit

Rating:****
Great tailored fit for skiing. Kept me plenty warm the first day out with temps in the low 20s. A little long in the calf, but it did not bother me when out on the slopes.

Ski socks

Rating:****
This rating is necessarily inaccurate because the ski season has yet to begin so the socks have not be used yet. They fit well but are slightly thinner than the description led me to believe.
geofx at Sierra Trading Post on 10/18/2009

nice socks

Rating:****
I like socks that are fairly thin since my ski boots are sized small. These are relatively thin compared to what is often available for ski/snowboard socks. Nice quality, not made in China, good product.

Negative Reviews:

Look impressive, good for skinny legs.

Rating:**
These seem nice, but the upper portion is too narrow, if you have any sort of calf muscle. They stretch enough to fit, but I suspect they are owerstretched and will become loose soon. Too early to tell.

Not Good

Rating:*
Didn't wick moisture worth a darn so my feet were sweaty and subsequently FREEZING. Would not buy these again.

Neutral Reviews:

Size up; these are tight!

Rating:***
I wanted a tall sock to keep my riding boots from bare legs. These are very tight, expensive and I don't care for the material. I'll keep shopping for the right sock, this isn't it.
