If your expensive custom fit ski boots give you cold feet, the solution isn't new boots or uncomfortably layering up with extra socks--you probably need these Precision Midweight Ski socks from Bridgedale. Designed with extra padded insulation through the toes and everywhere underfoot, the Bridgedale Precision Midweight Ski socks put the warmth along the anatomical cold spots without compromising the fit and control characteristics of most ski boots. Bridgedale used a combination of Merino wool and Isolfil® fibers to pull moisture away from your skin while keeping thermal warmth right where you need it. The padded heel and ankle also improve the overall heel fit, so you might find that you can get another season or two out of those custom molded ski boots that seemed pretty packed in last year.
The Bridgedale Men’s Midweight Ski Sock coddles your foot during the coldest days on the steepest slopes. The Merino wool and Isolfil blend fabric wicks moisture and insulates, so you won’t get clammy hooves during that otherwise perfect powder run. The extra warm, seamless toe panels leave your foot-phalanges unfrozen, and the sock’s slim rear fabric allows for a close boot fit. Bridgedale constructed the Midweight Ski Sock with anti-bunch Forward Flex Technology and anti-slip Lycra grip zones at the ankle and instep.

I dreamt of these socks and wanted another pair for years!!!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These socks make all the difference in the world! I had a pair of Bridgedale socks (shin length) for years and I only wore them for hikes, ski trips, or crazy cold outdoor situations and I LOVE THEM. Now with the knee highs! my calves are so happy! I wear them with shorts on hikes and they are perfect - PERFECT - P E R F E C T! The first pair I bought over 7 years ago now have holes in the bottom and I cant bring myself to discard them! Such good socks! now I have a new pair and I have found a source to get them, Altrec.com, any time, anywhere in the world!! the website is easy to use and delivery was perfect - thank you for stocking one of the best socks I have ever put on my feet. Tip: wash them in warm water and tumble dry normally - over time the socks take on a boiled wool quality making them more dense with a perfectly snug fit. | |

Worked so well I didn't think about them.

I bought three pair of these socks to replace a few older pair of a different brand. They were tested in two unique conditions, a single digit weekend in Vermont and a a week in Tahoe with varying conditions. They performed perfectly in both places. They actually performed so well that I hadn't given them a second thought. A few weeks after those trips I was discussing ski socks with someone and they asked what I used. It suddenly dawned on me that my feet were so cozy and comfortable during those trips that I didn't think about my socks. That's a sure sign they worked extremely well. Came home with little boot bang and great memories. Thanks Bridgedale!

Best all around winter active socks

| These socks combine the perfect amount of warmth with cushion to provide a sock that you can wear and guarentee comfort. As an intermediate skiier I know that ski boots are a pain and when dealing with the inconveiances of the tight and rigid ski boots, these socks help make the process easier. When mountain deescenting, the durable cusioning on the ball and heel of the sock provide a last that will prevent blisters and keep your feet comfy. The midweight characteristic also helps the water blocking capabilites as when snow gets on these socks you won't even notice it. Great socks and great value. | |

best ski sock for the $$$$
| Rating: | ![]() |
I really like how warm and comfortable this sock is, but I didn't realize that the sock would go up to the bottom my knee, apparently a sock that is described as a calf high sock means that it covers the entire calf. Who knew? But it keeps my feet warm and my wallet light.

Great for women's size 10!

| I have a woman's size 10 foot, and always have trouble finding knee socks that both fit my foot and also really reach my knee, but these do both, and are so comfortable and warm. I highly recommend them ( I use them for everyday socks in NYC, we've had a cold winter here.) | |

Best ski socks ever | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I just started using these this year and I have been more than impressed with their performance. They are warm, comfortable and light weight. It is important to remember that you don't need a thick sock to stay warm. Actually a thick sock can constrict your circulation and make you feet colder. | |

Awesome Socks! | |

Not to thin, not to thick. Borrowed a pair from a buddy and rode with them yesterday. They are awesome! I am definitely ordering some. My feet stayed warm and dry all day in windy Breckenridge. No slip in my Boa boots! Great sock and I was skeptical!

Great for Cross-Country
| Rating: | ![]() |
I own Bridgedale socks for hiking and mountaineering, so when I saw these on Chainlove I decided to give them a try. They are thinner than most of the ski socks I own so I haven't used them for down hill but they are perfect for cross-country.

Good socks. I have a pretty beat up pair, and needed new ones. Found them here on Backcountry for cheap. So I bought two pair and now I can get back on the mountian without fear of the cold.

Odd socks. | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I ordered 3 of these because of the good reviews here. Two came in as "Men's" socks and one came in as "Women's" (on the package) even though they are the exact same sock. Also, they are a little thinner than most midweight socks from other vendors. But the main reason for the low rating was because I think they are made wrong. Ski socks always have the thicker padding portion of the upper sock over the shin for leaning over the ski boot tongue. These we're made thicker over the calf for some odd reason and they're thinner over the shin. They were made wrong. I have other Bridgedale's and they are thicker over the shin.

Painfully tight | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
The feet, ankles, and lower calf fit fine but there is this obnoxious band around the top that digs in at the widest part of the calf. If I went up a size, the feet would be way too big. I never wore them enough to see if they were any good in the outdoor environment because my blood flow was restricted before I ever got my ski boots on.

Feet stayed warm but....
| Rating: | ![]() |
My feet didn't get sweaty or cold while using them for the first time yesterday. Temps were 22 base 10 summit. I ride with Burton boots. Not sure if they are not meant to work well with snowboarding boots but they were uncomfortable against my skin. At the top of my foot in the ankle area turned red & slightly raw on both feet. Taking a shower that night was a little painful with water hitting those areas. Maybe my boots were too tight or maybe it was the material but wasn't to happy with the slight pain I had afterward. I never experienced this with my other thicker socks & boots combo. I could feel some discomfort during the day and thought maybe the sock or pant liner was bunched up under my boot. When I checked everything looked fine and the socks were pulled up all the way. It could not be the socks fault but I am not sure what to blame for this.

Warm but comes apart | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I picked up these socks because it's hard to beat the price when on Tramdock.com. Six bucks for ski socks is an awesome deal. I picked up three pairs and used them for a season. two of the six socks are coming apart at the heal and toe so I went from three pairs to two, but my feel were warm for the entire CO ski season so no biggie. They are just socks after all.
