Yes ----- But!

I applied 6 coats over 6 hours to my sanded teak grab rails in my garage. As the product was curing sunlight passed through my garage windows onto the work causing gas bubbles to appear in the finish where the sunlight struck the work. I had to strip and refinish the rails a second time in a darkened garage. The second time - no gassing. I used no strippers - just sanding on previously teak oiled rails. Finish lasted over 2 years exposed to the AZ sun before it started to lift.

Love This Stuff!

Easiest finish I've ever applied. No brush strokes, quick drying, but not too quick. Four hour pot life, combined with re-application after one hour with no sanding allows you to build up a nice base VERY quickly.

Re: the one negative review. I believe the user failed to follow the recommendations which clearly state it should not be applied over oily woods or oil stains.

Great product

Used it 2 1/2 years ago on a flagstaff and it still looks like new. Love the ability to apply 5-6 coats in one day on small jobs. Easy to apply with foam brushes and leaves no bubbles or brush marks. And no sanding between coats. Be sure to follow their recommendations regarding sanding and prep. That makes the difference in the finished product.

great product after trying others

For those who don't like to sand, this is a great product. It will go over most varnishes and will look great afterward. Be sure to sand the areas where the old varnish may be peeling. Dry's fast so you can beat the weather. Apply additional coats before the prior coat has dried completely.

My fav wood finish

I have used for years on various boats. I like how it can be touched up without sanding down to bare wood.

Worst finish I ever tried

I put this over the Chris Craft oil based stain in dry, warm weather, last year. It dried too fast, even with thinner. It left brush marks if not applied very fast.
This spring I pulled my boat out and found the finish was lifting. I'm having to strip the whole deck and windshield. I'll stick to varnish!
