Positive Reviews:

I have quite a few Nike shorts, but decided to try something else just for the kicks. After a bit of research, the Brooks seemed like a good choice. The first time I took those for a spin, I found them a bit odd. Nikes have a minimal liner, but these have legs, and I thought I had made a terrible mistake buying them However, after a couple of runs, I actually started to like the liner: it is firm, but comfortable, and it really helps keep the moisture away from your skin. The shorts have two small pockets; they are large enough to fit my keys and a handful of hard candies that I like to take with me when I run. There is also an internal pocket in the front, but it is in a very strange position: I have not tried to put anything in it because whatever I put there, it will rub against parts of the male anatomy that are not supposed to be rubbed when you run, so I am passing on that. Overall, I really like these, and I will probably buy them over the Nikes next time.

This is my first real pair of running shorts, but I absolutely love them. They're long enough that I don't feel weird, but not so long that they flap around on my legs. The liner is perfect -- just tight enough to provide support, and no more, and the material is extremely comfortable. I've worn them in weather from 80* to 50*, and they've been great. No real hot weather yet, but the fabric seems like it will work well. Highly recommended.

These are some of the most comfortable short I have ever had. The build in compression short is not tight at all, but gives a good feeling of security and does not bind like other shorts. I have 2 pair and plan on ordering a third, using them for soccer and running.

Best pair of running shorts I own

I have lots of running shorts and I run a lot. These are my absolute favorite shorts to run in. A great pair for a marathon or half marathon. No chafing over long distances. Simply fantastic.

Negative Reviews:

Bought these shorts in November 2012. Have worn them 1-2 times per week to run. It is now mid January 2013 -- a mere 2-1/2 months later -- and one of the pockets has completely worn through so that it won't hold my iPod. I will buy a different brand from now on.
