"Bring this backpacking!"

Bomb compass! My buddy and I are studying abroad over here in Italy and decide to go on an expedition to a mountain we see outside the city. Anyways, long story short this little thing is spot on and helped us get up the thing and back without having to worry about spending the night in a cave because we can't figure out which way is back home. I think this little thing is great. If you need a compass, check this one out. And it comes in a snazzy lime green color too!

"You don't have GPS?!"

Used this compass to help me find my car at the airport parking lot once. I found it after security pointed me to the right parking building but when hiking and backpacking, this compass has come in handy quite a bit. The clear base is good for overlaying on maps, too.

"Classy- and bright- basic compass"

Got this little guy for my trip up to Gannett Peak. Loved its color made it easy to find in pack, when not on me and its size, which made it easy to carry on my. Pretty basic and did the job.

"simple and does the job."

Okay, so I got this compass to facilitate navigating through the forest of life, since I'm a guy and thus I don't like asking for directions. It's a beautiful 1980's fluorescent Lego green you know, from some of the space-themed Lego sets, which makes it very easy to find almost anywhere, assuming there's enough light and it isn't occluded by something opaque. It's a great basic compass. It's American made, if that means anything. Oh yeah, the ladies love it, too. My only concern, and the only criticism I have, is that all the text is printed on, so it may wear off with heavy use.

I love this little guy. I has every feature I need on a compass, and then some other stuff too. Hard to beat it for the price....son.

"Super!"

Used this compass for my first navigating class. It worked great but the one me using the compass got lost many times! Not the fault of the compass - I just need more classes.

"Awesome all around compass"

GREAT basic compass. Lets face it's got everything a weekend backpacker could need it for. Oh... and the green is pretty cool. It is a little more rugged than other compasses of this type.

"green color is straight out of Xfiles!"

It was on sale, I've never used one, but seems like a good item to have in the old pack. I plan on taking an online course on how to use. You can see through it, it has a cool green color, and the bezel turns - so you know its good.
