"The perfect backup compass"

Alireza at Moosejaw (Fall 2008) on 08/21/2008

This thing is ultralight. I bought it to use as a backup compass because it is so lightweight less than an ounce and has a thermometer, which I needed as well. If you are looking for a backup compass, or need a thermometer, this is pretty much as light and high quality as they come.

"Great bargain!"

Love it. Small enough to not be a bother but yet it provides the information I will especially need for fall and winter hiking.

"Very handy"

James at Moosejaw (Fall 2008) on 05/23/2007

Haven't taken this compass out of doors yet, but I already love it. I plan to attach this to my ski parka so I can readily access the temperature and the direction. Why? It's a necessity because my girlfriend always gets lost.
