Plug in your GPS or emergency satellite phone to the Brunton Sync Power Reservoir on your next expedition. This two-piece battery pack includes the battery and a control module with outlets to give juice to your backcountry gadgets. The module clips to a shoulder strap, allowing you to check the remaining power with built-in L.E.D. indicators, while the bulkier battery tucks away into your pack. The durable, water-resistant rubberized shell handles a light sprinkling. Auto shut-off saves precious power when the Sync isn’t in use. The system completely charges in four hours at home or in your car, and it even charges off a computer’s USB cable in around sixteen hours.

The instrctions seemed adequate, but the unit didn't work. No lights came on no matter the power source I plugged it into; it would not take a charge or indicate an interest in doing so. Than , bc.com, for taking it back.
i got this one do to the fact that it had more storage than the newer 1 & the life time war.it does not have directions or any real ones. pretty much plug & guess. but it has worked well charging htc evo 4g i think i got 6 times not sure & mp3 player 2 times. the big trick is to use your head dont let anything that is life or death run all the way down but the phone fully empty 3.5 times i think. BUT THIS IS MY REV IF U R GOING TO GET ANYTHING & GO OUT YOU NEED TO FIGURE OUT FOR YOUR SELF... i am giving it 3 lack of directions & plugs have not been able 2 get them 2 let me know how to charge my delorme pn-60 since they do tell you 2 only use there plugs.
i recently bought a brunton sync off of backcountry. brunton basically sells this with no directions on how to use it what so ever. it comes with one adapter that could easily be lost seeing as it comes with no carring pouch. but im pretty sure i figured out how to use it and it does seem to be built sturdy. so i would recomend buying it if you camp for a week at a time!
also you should charge it & drain charge stuff as the more you use it it will work longer. the other one is the inspier its fine but smaller & 1 year war
