I really like the buffs. I admit, I am cheap enough I considered making some. This is such a unique fabric, it wouldn't be the same. Sure, I could make something that would be similar & get the job done, but these have a stretchy I would not be able to emulate, no seams & fun fabric patterns. I have used them to keep my hair out of my face when snorkeling Maui, cover my chin when touring Grizzly Gulch, cover my ears snow shoe up to Silver Lake, & I plan on figuring out more of what this fun little piece of material will do {& if you find one in Maui on a snorkel beach, let me know, I'll pay postage to get it back!!}

This item far exceeded y expectations. Such a simple thing that can do so much. Sure it can be used as a gator, scarf, headband,beanie, hairband, balaclava (for those gnarly storm days under the helmet) and more; the fabric is ultra soft (makes up for any jacket that neglected to put the fleece chin protection liner in hood and collar); best of all, it really works! Thin but kept the wind out and the bite off. Very breathable too. I love that you can adjust the coverage from minimal to max! Best investment, highly recommend always having at least one if not ten in the gear duffle bag.

Buff headgear

I've used Buff headgear for years. I carry one in my purse at all times. They work well to keep my long hair back, keep my ears covered in cold weather, as a diving cap, and paired as a balaclava. Mine have not lost their stretch with hand washing. On the down side, those I have purchased online are not the same shade as they appear on the screen.

Buff rules!
Very nice bandana. I will use it as a scarf and a mask when snowboarding, and in general in the city.
My son also has a children's bandana, very comfortable in cool weather in the spring / fall, when the cap is hot yet, but without a hat is cool. Also used as a scarf
