Buff National Geographic Buff Reviews:

I finally got a chance to use my buff when I went snowboarding up at Targhee for some spring riding. The weather was perfect, about 30-35 degrees, and the buff was perfect for keep my face warm but not hot while coming down the runs. It was tight enough to stay up over my nose, thin enough to tuck under the edge of my goggles, and surprisingly breathable. I got the temple design and I love it. I doubt it would be that useful in cold conditions, obviously because it is so thin but for spring skiing, it is perfect.

Can't say enough about the Buff. You can wear them in a ton of different ways which makes them a piece of gear you don't want to leave at home. The provide UV protection so they keep you head safe from rays. You can wear it as a headband, beanie, neckband, face mask and etc. The material dry's fast and when wet can keep the skin cool. I take one on absolutely every trip I go on and won't be seen on any outdoor activity without one.

So Buff industry standard, yada yada... Do yourself a favor, check out norrona's microfiber neck gaiter, you will not be disappointed. Their colors and designs are pretty awesome and it is essentially the same thing as the Buff. Can be found at Backcountry.com under Norrona: accessories. Hurry up they are selling fast!

I LOVE the Buff for covering my head on runs during warm, mild, windy, or cool days. Perfect material to ward off sun, yet keep my head cool and hair away from my face. The pattern was pretty neat, too. Unless it's really cold outside, I won't run without this!

I bought the Bless color and I really like the pattern. I would not use this for skiing, unless it were on a spring day. The fabric is actually a lot thinner than i expected. It would be perfect for hiking though.

Bought this initially just as a neck warmer type deal, now I find myself wearing it everyday. I wear in climbing in the gym and even just out on the town! Sweet style and would definitely recommend it!

I've got a bunch of different colors of the Buff, and I wear them all the time. They wick really well and are one of the best things I've used for keeping my face warm while snowboarding.

These rule for skiing/hiking. I used to have cotton headbands, but cotton kills. This has no cotton, so shred on.

Girlfriend absolutely loves this thing. Wears it a lot skiing! She loves the colors, and it's super comfortable

Great color/print on the National Geo. So versatile. A Buff is a must have for the mountain!
