Bugband Portable Insect Repellent Diffuser Review:

Potentially good, but not in Africa

This is a small, portable product. If ued nightly, inserts need to be changed roughly once a week. The device is quiet and makes a faint humming noise, and has a small but strong red light that makes shadows wherever it is pointing.
I live in Ethiopia, and unfortunately, this does nothing for the mosquitoes here.
Also, this device uses a lot of batteries. We only use it at night (we used it for a few weeks, ever-hopeful that it would work against these mosquitoes), but still needed to change all 3 batteries almost weekly. The inserts also need to be changed weekly.
If this device works on North American mosquitoes, it's a great product for it's lightness and ease of transport, but for those outside of North America, it may be better to buy locally.
