We bought a Burley Solo and decided to get a 2nd hitch to make it easier to switch the trailer back and forth between our bikes. The Burley Solo comes with a single hitch. About the Solo: we like the sturdy construction and the flexible connector that keeps the trailer from flipping over if your bike falls over. We wish that the seat could sit our child more upright as he ends up slouched down by the end of our ~10 mile rides and that the sides were mesh instead of plastic because he gets kinda hot in there, even with the front and back flaps open.
If you are upgrading from a Classic Hitch to a Standard Forged Hitch, you will also need to purchase a Flex Connector: p/n 950038 (square tow bar) or p/n 950037 (round tow bar). If not at REI at the time you can get them at Burley Gear's website. Not compatible with BREEZER Vertical Rear Dropout, see pic at[@]
