Burris C4 Riflescope Reviews:

Very Pleased with My New C-4.
I have been hunting with the Fullfield 3>9 on both My rifles for Years. They have never let Me down.
Broke down and tried the New C-4 - 4.5>14, Put it on My 338 Win Mag to start. I love this Scope, Very clear and sharp compaired to the fullfied which is still a very fine scope, The extra power is no comparison to the 9 power, yet still has good field of view a longer ranges for hunting situations.
I used the same type of mounts ( Rear Windage adjustment screws ) as for the 3>9 / I did buy new ones though, They have better stronger mounting screws w/ theTorex head, By far better for torquing them down.
Bore sighted it with My cables lazer Bore site at dusk, You can see the lazer so muck easier than in daylight at a distance, Make adjustments to move the lazer to center of bulls eye. One ot two clicks after shooting it was dead on. saves a lot of ammo.
I got my custom turret in no time from Burris. less than a week. it does only go to 650 Yards with windage Comp. for my 338. Which is fine by Me. As for the first review You can set the tightness of Your adjusting clicks to Your liking. Took Me a couple of tries.
The only problem was I had it set for Standard in store Factory Premium 210 Gr Ammo. I haven't been able to find a box since??
I will be watching sales. Plan on getting one for My 243.
Excellent choice for the price, and for the average Hunter / Shooter. Out to 650 or so Yards, Maybe more just haven't tried it yet. If You are into the longer range shooting You may want to pay 3>4 times more and set You sights a little higher.

Great Optics!

This was my first Burris scope. The glass on this scope is extremely clear and bright. Glass quality is on par with my Vortex PSTs. Without the turret cap, the clicks are sharp and positive. After installing the caps, the clicks are much softer and harder to distinguish. The scope does track well. I haven't gotten my custom caps just yet. I have a load picked out, but I am waiting for a good calm day to confirm my velocity and drops before I order them.

One of the best bangs for your buck

I was a little reluctant at first with it being new but I was told about it from a friend who typically knows his optics quite well. Ordered sight unseen which I normally would not do and so far so good. VERY SATISFIED!
