Burton Merino Phase Socks - Women's: Give your feet an unfair advantage. Any smarter and they’d do the riding for you. Buried deep beneath Burton’s headquarters lies a super-secret lab where snowboarding’s most advanced sock, the women’s Burton Merino Phase Sock, was created.
Pieced together using discarded space ship technology and some scrap hyperbaric chamber parts, the lightweight Merino Phase is a blend of the most advanced features and materials known to sock science. These include, but are not limited to super insulating Merino Wool, stretchy spandex, and climate controlling NanoGLIDE. DRYRIDE Ultrawick Venting Toe Panels are like the dual overhead cams of socks, wicking away heat-robbing sweat with turbo-charged efficiency. Going one step further, the Merino Phase is also engineered with anatomical padding and an ergonomic MotionFit, which our sources tell us, will allow you to carve quicker, ollie higher, and hike higher. The future is now, step on in.
Friction causes heat, overheating leads to sweating which causes cold, clammy feet. NanoGLIDE acts like climate control, maintaining comfort on both fronts by eliminating friction and wicking away heat-robbing moisture. Not enough? It also ramps up abrasion-resistance so your heels don’t wear out.
Super low-profile cushioning on your instep, shin, and calf decreases pressure when your straps and laces are cranked tight.
Reinforced Footbed.
A thicker, polypropylene platform throughout the sole of the sock fights stink, dries quick, and improves insulation.
Arch and Ankle Support.
Added elasticity and padding underneath the arch and around the ankle increases support and cushioning where it matters most.
Chafe-Free Link Toe Seam.
Flat-stitched toe seam eliminates chafe and bunching for a better fit inside your boots.
Sock Lock Reinforcement.
Harnessing the abrasion-resistance of NanoGLIDE, these ankle reinforcements work with the Sock Lock panels on the inside of Burton’s boot liners for improved heel hold, longevity, and comfort.
DRYRIDE Ultrawick.
Highly breathable and ultra fast-wicking, DRYRIDE Ultrawick fabrics use microscopic fibers that pull heat-robbing moisture vapors away from your skin before they sour your pickle. All Ultrawick fabrics are developed with maximum stretch for mobility and use Softlock Seams for a chafe-free ride. Other key tech features can include antimicrobial and wicking finishes. Stretch properties enhance mobility.
DRYRIDE Venting Toe Panels.
Like a breath of fresh air, this ventilated toe panel construction self-regulates comfort by improving airflow for feet that stay drier and warmer for longer.
With a left and right foot specific design, this anatomically shaped construction mirrors the anatomy of each foot for superior circulation and improved warmth.
Stay High Comfort Band.
Keeps the sock locked around your calf with a soft, elastic band that reduces sagging and bunching.

The folks at Burton are kind of like mad scientists when it comes to socks. They just throw everything into the shaker and, bam, magic. The Burton Women's Merino Phase Sock has some mad magic going. It features a blend of technical fabrics, strategic cushioning, an articulated fit specific for each foot (right and left), elastic stretch zones, and reinforcements made specifically to integrate with Sock Lock panels in Burton boots. It was constructed to keep your feet dry and comfortable, eliminate foul smells with antimicrobial fabrics, reduce friction and abrasion, minimize unnecessary heel movement, and reinforce areas that need extra support and that are prone to premature wear. Harnessing the abrasion-resistance of NanoGlide, ankle reinforcements work with the Sock Lock panels on the inside of Burton’s boot liners for improved heel hold, longevity, and comfort. In short, they keep you comfortable so you can focus on having fun in the snow, and are made to last so you get many seasons of wear out of them.

Made of a slew of technical fabrics like merino wool and NanoGLIDE, the Burton Merino Phase Socks provide absolute comfort and superior function to the forefront of you snowboarding experience.
