The Burton Super Hero Snowboard was built with one mission in mind—to seek out every hit on the mountain. Whether you're lapping the park or blasting side hits, the Flat Top profile has the stability of camber and the playfulness of rocker. The Nug Raduction tech package allows you to downsize 4-5cm from your regular board size for more response with no loss of control. And the scoop tip and tail will open up new butter combos that you didn't even think were possible. When you're ready to super-size your skill set, the Super Hero is ready and waiting.
The Super Hero runs a twin shape, so it rides switch exactly like it does regular. The Flat Top profile blends the best of rocker and camber by providing stability and pop, plus the catch-free ride you've come to expect from rockered boards. Side Effects give you the absolute maximum effective edge, which cranks up the edge hold. And it gets even better with Frostbite edges, which bump out under the binding for tenacious grip on ice and hardpack.
The Super Hero's Nug Raduction tech package enables you to run a board that's 4-5cm smaller than you'd typically ride, without sacrificing performance. The lightweight Super Fly core is profiled for a controlled flex, even in choppy snow. Squeezebox takes this concept a step further, thinning the core under the bindings for an even flex along the entire length of the board. That gets a boost from The Channel mounting system, which works in conjunction with EST bindings to give you unrestricted flex and incomparable board feel. Pro Tip keeps the Super Hero spinning fast, and Infinite Ride ensures that it feels broken in right out of the box, and stays that way.
The Burton Superhero Snowboard is jam packed with great features in a shorter and more maneuverable package. This board is perfect for park and pipe riders that want to lighten their load and speed the spins. The Superhero features Nug Raduction that optimizes the build to allow the rider to size down in length of the board without losing pop, float and stability. Burton says go to 4-5cm shorter by the way. The Channel mounting system on this board and a Flat Top profile combines a flat spot between your feet and has rocker on both ends to give you better balance and stability.

I got to ride this board up at Brighton for a day this past winter and it was super fun and playful. I definitely prefer the Super Hero to the Nug as it feels poppier and when you apply more force and energy to the board it actually gives it back. Super lightweight and floaty on jumps while still being stable enough to shred the whole mountain. The Super Hero and the Restricted Nug (normal camber version) were definitely my favorite Burton boards of day.
