Like a comfy sleeping bag, awwwwwh

This jacket is very warm, I use it at resorts only because hiking in it would be like taking a saline shower. Too warm for anything above 21 deg F. The best warmth for temps around 10 deg F. w/ one light layer, as long as your turnin hard. Fits a little big, I'm 5'10" 165lbs and a medium fit good except my shoulders were tight and the arm length was short. I traded for a large now its a little long and baggy but my shoulders love it and my sleeves dont pull up when I bend over to strap in. The pit zips are weak little zippers and always get stuck on the inside flap. It gets really bad when the zipper gets stuck and your ridding the chair back up in 0 deg F. But after a while I learned how to be very careful with them. I'm not sold on the riri zipper either because it can freeze lock. for instance, if is freezing up top on the MT and below freezing at the base, then geting back up top will freeze lock the riri zip. The jacket is sweet but it only gets 4 stars for the zips.

Amazing jacket at 50% off

I got the True black in size small from backcountry outlet at 50% off. I got it in 2 days, and I'm still amazed at how big it fits. I am usually a medium for everything, but this one is more like between a medium and a large. With that said, the rest of the jacket is amazing. You simply cannot get a similar jacket for this price. Gore-tex, 600 fill down, and all the technological advances make this jacket worth every cent. The inner lining seems fragile, although its ultra soft and feels great against my skin. The jacket is also really lightweight for a down jacket. Cant beat backcountry's and burton's warranty. Anything wrong and just send it back.

Ripping jacket, warm and dry

Great jacket. Gore tex, windproof, warm. Great in colder climates like utah, jackson and montana. And of course AK. great pockets, light weight jacket for the warrmth and long sleeves and drop skirt. Can snug up up all ssections and laugh at below zero powder while eveyone else runs. It is big, I normally wear a L and got medium. But it fits great. Dont fear the price, worth every penny. Oh, hit a few tree branches, no signs of wear, durable

Greatest Jacket for the price

Like others have said, this jacket is very big. I usually wear medium for everything, but this I had to get a small, and even thats a little big. The interior feels kind of fragile, but its super soft and it will no doubt be warm when the weather goes down to -20c. The service was great from backcountry and and the shipping was ultra quick. I just wished they ship to canada.

great jacket. its cut a little big, but not too much. despite the customer svc at backcountry telling me there are no hand pockets, there are two pockets for your hands. there is also an inside pocket for your ipod. have not taken it out in the frigid cold but suspect that it will keep you warm and dry.

This jacket is sick, I got the resin an the pattern on it is amazing looking. Very warm but not overly bulky. Sizes run large I'm 6'0 160 an a medium fits well. Zippers are a little touchy however, could be inmproved.

| Okay, I know this is supposed to run kinda baggy, but I felt like a little kid wearing his Dad's jacket. I'm 5' 11", 157 pounds, with about a 41" chest. I went down to a Medium, and the only place it sort of fit was in the chest. The arms were especially bad. It was too bad, because otherwise it seemed pretty swell--nice and toasty, plenty of pockets, and no Michelin Man puffiness. I was very happy with Alrec's customer service. | |

I ordered size S, but had to return because Burton AK size S jacket is bigger than other brands' size L. Otherwise the jacket is good.
