Burton Cartel Re:Flex Snowboard Binding -

When you see pros strapping into bindings that you don't recognize, odds are that they're Burton's Cartel Re:Flex. The mid-stiff flex and comfortable straps are only part of the reason that more pros chose the Cartel than any other bindings. The bombproof nylon composite base plate blends precise response with enough give to take the sting out of harsh landings, and the Living Hinge high back provides added freedom for powerful ollies and tweaked grabs. The one piece high back can be set up with zero forward lean for a progressive park stance, or you can crank up the lean for ripping the pipe and laying down euro carves. So when you care more about killer binders than flashy colors or cool-guy marketing, you know what to get.

Support and Cushioning:

  • Removable AutoCANT FullBED cushioning system

  • Reactstrap asymmetrical heel strap
  • Gettagrip Capstrap toe strap

  • Smooth Glide buckles
  • Tool-free forward lean adjust
  • Canted asymmetrical Zero-Lean Hi Back

I would for sure recommend these to anyone out there looking for a new binding, love em, these are indestructible, very comfortable and give great support, very compatible and adjustable with any board out there(have them bolted on a Lib tech) between these and my Burton Rampant Boot, I feel like I'm riding a cloud down the mountain due to being so light weight, can't go wrong with Burton. The orange color is sick! Note I am a size 10.5, tried the large first and got to much heel drag. I am in between sizes so the medium works much better for me, especially with boots being lower profile now days and packing out.

My friend has these bindings, and im scared. His style is all about being aggressive. He already broke his bindings, these ones, and bought new ones. They are turning him into a monster!!! His aggressiveness is of the charts, i dont know if i can stop him. He is like a very aggressive thomas the tank engine, barreling down the mountain jibbing off of kids and carving up old people. If you arent ready for the aggressive "sayian-like" transformation, dont buy these. But if you want to be aggressive, go fo it. These are aggressive.

This has been my favorite binding for the last few years. They are super reliable and very comfortable and lock your feet in tight. The high-backs provide great support and are not to high and not to short. They have a good mid range flex and will keep you stable at higher speeds and dont give out on you. At the same time they provide enough flex to press on rails comfortably. These bindings will work for any type of riding and will work with 4 hole and 3 hole pattern boards.

Negative Reviews:

bindings are extremely comfortable and responsive. The problem i had was the forward lean on the highback. the dialflad system is a metal screw that goes into the plastic highback. Third day riding them on my burton custom and the whole thing ripped out of my highback. returning them to buy some union atlas. would not recommend this product to anyone who charges the mountain and is rough on equipment
