Burton Fray Jacket - Junior Boy's: Ample pockets is just the first of many features you will notice on the Fray jacket from Burton. Burton models all of their junior boys jackets from thier men's, cutting out nothing but the excess fabric. The Fray jacket has a midweight rating for warmth and some waterproofing.
Burton Fray Jacket - Junior Boy's: No holding back or skimping because this is the boy's jacket. Taken straight out of the men's line and built for half pints that refuse to come in from the cold.
Lmberjack plaid with a sensible toughness. Targeted insulation keeps groms toasty in all the right places while promoting mobility for strapping in and shoveling. A secure sound pocket, helmet-friendly hood, and snow-blocking waist gaiter round out the performance of a jacket that'll work just as well off-hill, too.
DRYRIDE Durashell 2L Fabric.
The DRYRIDE Durashell 2-layer fabric features technical weatherproofing and breathable properties in a buttery soft yet bomber package. Various insulations and lining systems can be incorporated to fine-tune the overall warmth, comfort, and breathability of the garment.
Developed for superior warmth-to-weight, Thermacore cranks the heat without limiting mobility. We offer Thermacore in a variety of weights, and in select styles fine-tune the amount of insulation in the body, sleeves, and hood for focused warmth and breathability.
Taffeta offers a crisp, high-end feel that is often woven using a mix of synthetic fibers. Its unique hand feel and sheen make it ideal for printing and embossing, and like all Burton linings it wicks and breathes easy to keep you dry from the inside out. Options made using recycled materials available within the GMP collection of eco-minded outerwear.
Velcro Closure Handwarmer Pockets.
Includes Boys' Jacket Features Package
Don't send Junior out into the fight without the protection he needs. Suit him up in the Burton Boys' Fray Jacket. He'll stay warm and dry when he takes on the mountain thanks to a DryRide durashell and Thermacore insulation. It's that or send him out into the storm in a T-shirt and hope it toughens him up, but Child Services seems to frown on that.
The Fray's DryRide 2L Durashell laminate blocks moisture while remaining highly breathable so he'll stay dry when fresh stuff falls; the mini-twill face fabric with an environmentally friendly Aquapel DWR finish sheds the initial onslaught of moisture. Thermacore insulation (120g around the torso and 80g in the sleeves, hood, and collar) keeps his core toasty while giving his arms room to move.
The expandable drop-down hood fits snugly over a helmet and then tightens down for windy chairlift rides, and the powder skirt with jacket-to-pants interface stops snow from flying up his jacket. There's plenty of pocket space including fleece-lined hand pocket, and a ported media pocket keep him organized, and glove loops ensure he won't lose his gloves in the lodge (again).
Set him up for hard-charging success by zipping him into the Burton Boys’ Fray Snowboard Jacket. The waterproof-breathable fabric is filled with two levels of insulation, keeping him warmest at the core. Media, goggle, Velcro handwarmer, and chest pockets provide lots of room for snacks, glove liners, tissues, gizmos and other necessities. Burton’s Room-to-Grow™ extendable cuffs ensure the Fray Jacket keeps up with fast-sprouting youths.
