Burton Ion Boot - Men's: As Burton describes it, "Legendary whip, now with Pirelli Grip!" Guess that's all you need to know! If not, here's some features below...
Burton Ion all-mountain snowboard boots feature top-of-the-line features: canted cushioning, firm tongues, and liners that conform to your feet. Pirelli rubber soles grip slick surfaces with ease.
We didn't know how long it would last, but Burton has once again teamed up with Pirelli to kick up the grip on the Ion Snowboard Boots. What that means for you is all the Burton tech you'd expect, like a Speed Zone lacing system and a super comfy Infinite Ride 4 liner. Plus, they're sitting on a sole built by one of the world's foremost tire manufacturers. Which basically makes these supercars for your feet. They may not have gull wing doors, but they're way better than a Lambo for dropping cliffs and sending hits.
Performance, precisely tuned. The latest tech in a team-favorite whip with Pirelli grip.

I gave this as a gift and it was a little frustrating for us. Normally he wears a size 9.5 in all boots, but it would seem that these run a little small so we had to return the first pair and size up. Once we got the size 10.0 he put them on to go riding for the first time and the inner lacing closure was broken. Luckily Burton is really good about warranties, so they got a new piece out to us so the entire boot wouldn't have to be returned.
After a week of riding on them, he loves how they feel on his feet and the fact that the toe cap is hard cover so it won't get eaten up as easily by the bindings. I'd say the hassle of getting the boots was definitely worth it in my opinion!
