We just got off the phone with our sources at the International Snowboard Association and apparently leather halfpipes don’t exist. We’re not sure where the confusion came from, but apparently Gnar Guard genuine leather is great for rugged weatherproofing, not so great when it comes to a sliding surface that can be shaped into a tube for throwing aerial stunts in front of judges. Regardless, we are sure of one thing—with the women’s Burton Leather Pipe Mitt and its waterproof/breathable DRYRIDE Insane Membrane™ insert, low-pro/lightweight Thermacore™ insulation, and old school styling, you’re guaranteed to score all season.

Unlike most men, women are usually cursed with smaller, colder hands when it comes to winter activities. Good thing the crew over at Burton cares about the ladies. The Leather Pipe Mitt allows you the freedom of a true pipe glove, while keeping your hands warmer. Thanks Burton

| I bought a pair of these in black (when they were available). They fit nice, bend well with your fingers. I bought them for snowboarding but wear them for everything because they are nice looking and not bulky. I wore them snowboarding and they kept my hands very warm and dry. Make sure you apply multiple layers of the wax to the seams (wax is included). Don't take them off to dry they shrink or buy a larger size. | |
