Burton Sherlock -
The Burton Men's Sherlock Snowboard will uncover the mysteries of the mountain. Fusing the best of both worlds Flying V enhances the playfulness and float of a rocker while subtle camber zones give you the edge-control for crisp snap, added pop, and power through turns.
Awesome all over the mountain, from rough terrain to powder this Twin-Like shape with Direction flex gives you the versatility of a freestyle feel riding regular or switch while increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose allows you to easily maintain control flow. For those less than epic days, or really charging, Smooth Ride internal dampening absorb some of the impact of riding through rough terrain while Frostbite Edges bite in for awesome edge-hold on hard, ice pack conditions.
At the heart of this Sherlock is a strong light blend of woods that provide strength and reduced weight while a ultra-light Carbon I-Beam Backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap. Wrapping it all up is a Triax Fiberglass that has versatile flex and response on top of a Sintered Base that is durable and highly porous for superior wax absorption for greater overall glide. All these parts come together to create a quick responsive board that will power through it all.
Forget combing over the Trail Map with a magnify glass go out and discover all the undiscovered secrets of the mountain and possible untapped talent within, with the Burton Sherlock.

The Burton® Sherlock snowboard will have you feeling like you're on a mission to find the primo spot!
Part of the Gondola Package that is setting the industry benchmark for performance with boards that are lighter, faster, and stronger for more air, quicker turns, and more fun no matter what the terrain or conditions.
(M6) has focused power through a central connection that evenly distributes energy for added rebound and snap, it also lets you easily micro-adjust your stance width and angles. The addition of M6 means we're using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with all Burton bindings as well as bindings from select competitors, making it a choice for any rider.
The Flying V™ Rocker is the continuous rocker both between and in front of your feet towards the tip and tail and creates catch-free playfulness and improved float from peak to park.
Twin-Like Shape provides the freestyle feel of a twin shape with better float and control, no matter if you're riding regular or switch, through variable terrain and conditions.
offers more pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control and flow through any terrain and conditions.
Dualzone™ EGD™ (Engineered Grain Direction) has the wood grain positioned along the toe and heel edges, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, to make the board inherently stronger with a superior edge hold.
Triax™ Fiberglass provides versatile flex and excellent response from light to high impact shreds.
™ is an ultralight carbon backbone that increases pop and longitudinal snap.
Sintered Base is highly porous and durable.
energizes the tip and tail by transferring energy downward from under your feet, adding snap when exiting a turn and ollieing.
™ internal dampening technology lets you react quicker, ride faster, and go bigger with more control and less impact on your body. The negative vibrations associated with rough terrain and cruddy snow get absorbed by the board before making it to your body.
are beneath your bindings and extend out slightly for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. While Frostbite Edges are always hungry for hard-pack, they remain ever forgiving in softer conditions.
Pro Tip™ design utilizes a tapered tip and tail thickness that reduces swing weight and creates a more playful feel.
™ is created by overbuilding the board, allowing the Burton-exclusive technology to maximize pop and strength. It is then placed in a machine that breaks in the board for you. From first day to last, this board will maintain its flex, pop and performance.

Sleuth out the good slashes.

The Burton Sherlock Snowboard combines a snappy yet stompable flex with a twin-like shape built to get buck wild in the pow. The float-enhancing Side Effects and Flying V rocker profile keep you surfing on top of the deep, while Frostbite edges and Smooth Ride shock absorption make short work of chopped-up run-outs and hard-packed groomer laps.

Al's Sports
It slays them all with deep snow float and feel thanks to a combo of Flying V™ and Side Effects, putting it in the freeride class of the Barracuda but with the freestyle versatility of the Custom. This pro-level deck is the one Mikey Rencz and Mark Sollors pull from the sled when filming with their crews and just like them, it needs a steady diet of fresh snow and featured terrain to stay satisfied.

Reviews:

I have last year's model (lightning pattern) in 160, and it is LEGIT.
I haven't taken it in powder yet, but for groomers and chop it handled pretty darn well... and it's fast!
My other board is a custom 157 wide, so I was worried at first that the sherlock wouldn't be wide enough. I use size 11.5 boots and there was no drag whatsoever.
I gotta say, I'm extremely happy with this board, and will be taking it to Durango this month!

A twin-like directional flexing board with Flying V for your rider who rides the mountain as their park. New Smooth Ride internal dampening lets you ride faster through rough terrain with more control and less wear on your body. If you are killing pow, dropping cliffs, and sending backcountry booters this is the board for you. Watch Mikey Rencz destroy the mountain on this stick in the new Burton Movie Thirteen.
