Season ticket holders need plenty of weekends of play to justify the cost of their snowboarding investment. The thermal versatility of the Burton 2/1 System Jacket can help alleviate some of those weather concerns--or at least make the wait for better conditions a little more bearable. Like many Burton technical jackets, the Burton 2/1 System Jacket has a durable, waterproof and breathable Storm-lite® exterior, but inside you'll find a removable fleece liner that zips out for optional insulation. If you still need more cooling, unzip the mesh-lined Pit Zips beneath the sleeves. The Burton 2/1 System Jacket is a practical solution for those days that start out cold and end up melting all the snow off the trees.

Wouldn’t it be cool if your ONE jacket was really THREE jackets? That’s what you get with the Burton System Jacket—a weatherproof DRYRIDE Durashell™ 2L shell with a removable DRYRIDE Thermex™ bonded fleece hoodie inside. Wear the shell and hoodie midwinter, just the shell in the spring, and the hoodie for the remaining 226 days of the year. With a sound pocket, the hoodie is already way better than what you’re currently wearing. Factor in all of the jacket’s added features, such as a removable Link ZIP™ waist gaiter, goggle and pass pockets, ventilating Pit Zips™, and LIFETIME WARRANTY and this just might be the best jacket…uh…jackets you’ll ever buy.

Although there are current systems surrounding us that may be flawed or outdated the Burton System jacket holds true to its make up. A fully taped DRYRIDE Durashell combined with an ALS lining and re-movable DRYRIDE Thermex bonded fleece hoodie creates a 3-1 jacket that is no more misleading than a turkey sandwich. This Burton truth shall set you free.
Systematic systemation.
Don't waste your time trying to find the perfect spring jacket, winter jacket, and insulator— Burton's already done it for you. From opening to closing, the Burton Men's System Jacket's zip-out, Thermacore insulated liner and 20K-rated waterproof hardshell give you the versatility to handle any conditions. Zip both together for epic powder days in February. The hardshell fends off snow and wind while the insulated synthetic liner won't let body heat escape without a fight. When the mercury rises, leave System Jacket's insulating liner in your car and just wear the Burton hardshell. Zip open the System Jacket's Underarm zips if conditions really start to heat up. The insulating liner's standalone style lets you take your steeze to the streets when you're not riding. *Available for US Shipment Only. - Fall 2007.

Can't wait to wear this jacket!

| Pros: This is a high quality Jacket and I can tell it will be very warm and keep the elements out! Looks sweet too! I heard this jacket didn't have very many pockets, but it certainly does! Big ones and a few little not-so-obvious ones. Cons: Long! Went to my knees almost! It has cinch cords though. So cinch it around your waist and the jacket will kind of fold over from there and hang at a normal length. Also, the liner is very cool but it does not zip into the jacket. there are just a few snap and things that help fasten it to the jacket so the two kinda stay together. I give this jacket a four out of five. | |

Jacket Heaven | |

I had to make a run to the post office (literally a run since I didn't have my car), but I had nothing to worry about despite the 35 degree weather and rain here in upstate NY! The system was complete warmth and protection. I had to open the pit zips because I got too hot! There was a little moisture on the jacket when I walked inside, but a quick shake got rid of it. Oh, and the media pocket was perfect for the headphones, and easy to change songs with the velcro!

| Awesome jacket. Went skiing for 3 days with wind chill as low as -30, not cold at all (except for my face, hands, and feet). One minor qualm with the jacket is that the outer layer fits much bigger than the inner jacket liner, so while the outer jacket looks and fits great, I couldn't wear just the inner liner by itself. I'm a medium build and ordered the small, maybe could've ordered the medium. | |

BURNING HOT... | |

I wore this jacket in 40 degree weather, sunny at Big Bear in CA. I was just wearing the shell and i had to roll the sleeves up cause i was so blasted hot. I even had the pit zips open and the jacket unzipped. This jacket is amazing though, kept me super warm. Love the inner liner, have used that other places too. Overall great jacket, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Great jacket for the price, lifetime warranty, good materials used. Not the warmest jacket by itself, will need a fleece or sweatshirt underneth for sub 20 days, same for really windy days. Good pocket placement, really like the feel of the jacket. Great looking too. I would buy it again.

| Sweet Jacket - Bought this for my 14 y/o. It is true to size, and loves the styling. We haven't had it on the hill yet, but I suspect it will wear quite well. | |

Functional... that's it.

I'm 6'3" 200lbs, I ordered an XL and this coat fit well, but was a tad shorter than I like in the length. If you want a coat that hangs below the waist, keep looking or order a bigger size. This jacket is built well and looks cool. But buyer beware. There are NO... and I mean NO internal pockets in the liner. The hardshell has one crappy internal pocket you can only reach by unzipping the liner, and it is MAYBE big enough to hold your zippo lighter. There are two pockets on each side of the hardshell and the typical hand pockets on the outside of the liner, but that's it. If you don't have a need for lots of pockets and like your coats to hang at the waist, this is your coat, buy it and love it. It's built to last in style, just don't take anything with you when you hit the slopes.
