A good, basic cot.

This is a good, basic cot for the occasional camper (once a month for me, with Scouts). Compared to the more expensive cots that others have, I see that it doesn't have attached tie straps, so make sure you keep track of them. It's easier to assemble if you make sure to loosen one end of the canvas before installing the cross beams. It isn't too heavy, but I wouldn't take it anywhere I have to take it more than a few minute walk from the car.

That said, it goes up and down easy and sleeps comfy. A great choice for the occasional camper who doesn't want to spend a lot for a cot with more features.

Easy Set Up

Purchased to use on family camping trips in the Smoky Mtns. Throw a ThermaRest on the cot for extra comfort. Side storage is convenient for water bottles, eyeglasses, etc.

Better than an air mat or foam

Go ttired of air mats and foam,,,definite difference especially in the warm summer months,

Good Cot, hard assembly

Took 2 people to put this unit together, only reason I keep it, once its together my twin air bed fit on it nicely, otherwise not a great item if your alone, can't get it together or apart solo. The ends clip and won't let go. Thinking its a minor flaw in the contruction design, otherwise its a really nice peice of equipment to have if you have an air bed to put on it to sleep comfortably.
