Loading/unloading a boat just got easier...

With these guide ons, you can see your trailer (while empty while backing in). And if your like me-you do your best to spend all day on the water, meaning you trailer your boat as it's getting dark.... you can still see the trailer as these guide on's are lighted.
Not to mention how much easier it is to dock or launch your boat in windy/wavey/ high water conditions, as the guide-ons help control the boat, protecting it (boat) and you from harm.
Wish I had known about and purchased sooner.

Smith Lighted Guide-Ons

Great Product. Much easier to gauge where the boat is on a steep ramp. Simple to install. If you have a trailer that has a 5" tall beam, you'll have to order a kit from Smith to install the guide-ons (I had to have the kit).
Lights are great; instructions easy to understand.

A big help for launching

When backing an empty jet ski trailer down the ramp this is the only way I can really see where the trailer is. Have had some problems with the electrical hook up so have let the jet ski repair place do it for me.

Lighted Guide-ons

I've tried lighted whips in the past which work great until they get snapped off. I finally bit the bullet and bought the lighted guide-ons. All I can say is, "WOW!"
Easy installation, look great and they work awesome. What was I waiting for?

THE BEST

THIS IS A JET-SKI TRAILER MUST HAVE. SOLVES THE LACK OF VISIBILITY ISSUES RELATED TO BACKING AN EMPTY TRAILER TO THE RAMP.
PROVIDES EXCELLENT VISIBILITY ON THE HIGHWAY.
IT IS A RUGGED PRODUCT.

I HAVE NOT DISCOVERED ANYTHING NEGATIVE.

Easy to install

These goalposts make it a lot easier to land my boat. They keep it from drifting too far to either side as I pull it up the ramp.

Excellent! Does what it advertises!

The lights enable backing up late at night with greater visability!

LED LIGHTS BEWARE

The product was made very solid. The issue I have is the led lights have only one filament.
That means that you can use the led lights for stop and turn "OR" running lights. You can't hook them up for both running and brake and turn.
A call to factory was made to confirm.
