C.E. Smith C. E. Smith Outrigger Rod Holder Reviews:

CE Smith Outrigger Rod Holder

The order was delivered in just three days from the order date.
The rod holders were used on a 20 ft. center console boat with an 8 ft. beam.
They mounted easily and were at the correct angle from the gunwhale. I was using them in the ocean out of Stuart Florida. The wind was about 15 kts. with a 2 to 3 foot sea. I also had out a surface line between the two outboard rods. The lines tangled only once which is not unusual under the described sea conditions. I would recommend these rod holders for anyone who wants a relatively inexpensive alternative to outriggers.

Great, strong, durable

Wasn't sure how strong they would be for deep sea fishing , but WOW ! Heavy duty and able to handle the pressure of off shore with 25 knots wind , pounding seas , and tuff palegic fish.
A must for increasing your spread to avoid tangles without spending $3000 on outriggers.

I have a 21' center console and without full size outriggers they allow me to troll multiple lines without to much problem.
