Wish I'd bought these sooner!

Adjusting turnbuckles is always a pain in the neck when you need to insert / remove cotter pins. This device makes it quick and painless. They look significantly better than tape wrappings, and have no sharp edges to catch sheets.

This product is an evolution in rigging - I would recommend using them on any turnbuckles.

These worked better than I expected.

I use this for securing the turnbuckles that I have to adjust each time I step or drop the rigging on my trailerable sailboat. The best part of these is that I don't have to worry about sharp pins damaging rigging or sails.

Negative Reviews:

weak

2 out of 4 didn't survive the first heavy-air race. I tune for every race, so these seemed like a great idea. First, the pins were too long. Second, the metal in them is too soft. I had to cut a couple of them off since I was unable to straighten them out enough to remove them.

great idea, BUT

Although a great idea, pins are flimsy (have to straighten them out a lot) and the epoxy binder is very brittle and cracks very easily. Have lost 4 already.

Check them often
