C Crane CC SW Pocket Radio Reviews:

Good performance & value, one flaw.

I really enjoy the performance of this radio. It's a fine entry unit for SW listening, the sleep feature is great, sound is quite good for all bands and I love the large number of memory presets. But, as noted on reviews at the C Crane website (wish I had read them first) the volume step from one (too soft) to two (too loud) is an annoying flaw. A rotary volume control would move this from 4 stars to 5.

Great tuner in small package

Small form factor very good tuner for am and fm, download the manual to really learn how to use this radio. Volume control is mildly annoying, but not a deal breaker for me. SW bands are not accessible to me, would rather prefer weather bands, even cb channels instead. Like the adjustable step hz for Japan radio, all in all a great radio!
