Good for the price

If you want a solid almost welded to your gun, with no play flashlight mount, this is not it. However it does hold a flashlight pretty well for my use, very easy to use comes off quickly for storage in the tactical bag and installs quickly. You get what you pay for and this product is well worth the price, theirs just some people that want a higher quality, but then you also go up in price for the average hunter/home defense good investment.

Good product!

I had a little trouble initially getting it to slide on a picatinny rail, but after some firm shoving it went on and then was easier after that. Seems to be working just fine!

Negative Reviews:

Poor quality at best

Bought this to mount a Streamlight Strion on a Hi-Point 995TS carbine It did fit the picatiny rail but wouldn't lock down. I found that the locking tabs were too wide to lock into the slots of any of my picatiny rails. It is next to impossible to modify the tabs on the holder, therefore I decided where I wanted to lock down the light on the Hi-point, and filed the picatiny rail slot to open it enough to lock the spring loaded tabs in place. It was only one slot, and fortunately the Hi-Point picatiny was polymer not steel, or it would certainly have been a Dremel job. The other issue I found with this holder is the spring clip, that tensions the locking tabs was weak on one side, and not strong enough to fully bottom out the locking tab on that side in the picatiny rail slot. All said and done it does secure the Strion to the Hi-Point through battery, so it does work, but if this where going on a high end firearm with a rail, you wouldn't want to be destroying the rails finish to make it work! On the Hi-Point, my bedside carbine the finishes match, and it even looks good installed, but that's a house gun, I wouldn't employ it on my battle rifle. For what I'm using it for, it was a cost effective handyman's special alternative. LOL!
