I love these boots

I bought these a year ago after studying the reviews and trying several other styles. I bought them because here in the Sierra foothills, we have a lot of Rattlesnakes around the ranch, and I wanted them for the safety factor. I wasn't too concerned with the waterproof factor since our climate is usually dry. These boots were very comfortable right out of the box. The zipper feature is great. They are super easy to get on and off, and they snug right up when you zip them up. These boots have become the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. They show very little wear even after a year of using them on a daily basis. If they came in black, I would wear them to Church. I haven't had any issues with wetness, but I generally don't have to wade across streams. For working in wet fields and on wet grassland, they have been great. I liked these so much that I bought a pair for my Father, and another pair for a buddy. If they came in a woman's size, I would have bought them for my mother too. Everyone loves them.

Great Boots. One of my better purchases ever.

I spend a lot of time at our hunting camp in the warm months when rattlers are active during spring gobbler, early fall archery deer seasons and other activities in the mountains of central Pennsylvania. These boots are extremely comfortable to wear all day and I find myself wearing them for more then just hunting. Easy to slip on and zip up and don't bind or chaff as often new boots need to be worn to be broken in. These boots don't need any break in in my experience. They are light weight and waterproof which makes them easy to go anywhere. I bought a pair for my future son-in-law as he tried mine on and was impressed with them too.

Can it get anymore comfortable?

Alright, so I am in my second pair of these boots, not because the first ones were defective, but because I wore the first pair out. If you find yourself walking through the mud, kicking around the campsite or just cozy'ed up to a nice campfire, these boots are great! Kinda like that favorite pair of tennis shoes, or house slippers, you just cant beat em. If I had to complain about something, it would be the fact that the boots are a pain in the behind to get on and off if your feet sweat. But because they are sooo comfortable, this is really not an issue because you wont want to take them off.

Love-Hate These Boots

I'm in my second season of my second pair of these boots. Had the first pair for over five years. Overall, I was happy with them and the pair I have now. They're comfortable and durable and will keep your feet warm and dry if you walk quickly through small amounts of water. All of the above is what I love about them. Then there's the part I hate: often I walk through several hundred yards of North Carolina swamp or flooded four wheeler paths to get to my deer stand. In that much water (6-10", not over the boot tops ever) for an extended period the Gore Tex liners will not keep your feet dry. They don't get soaked, just wet enough so your socks get wet. If you want your feet to stay dry while wading long distances, look elsewhere--I'm going to.
