Old School not superline

Ok, This is not Mycrodenema,(Fireline) or Spectra(spiderwire). This material is older school than monofilament fishing line. So it is way thicker per pound test. Also if you cast it,the reel needs to have a level wind that moves as the line comes off the reel or no level wind at all. The big plus is it untangles easier than anything and it is great for something you have to handline.(like ice fishing). If you use the heavier test Like 50 or up it is great for pike and musky. This has a place in fishing, not for everything.

Good for ice fishing

I use this stuff on my 2 sets of tip ups. I like that it is coated with something to make it last. The only problem is that when I tied it to a swivel the knot broke. But I think it could have been the knot I tied.

Pure JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went fishing on the Chesepeake Bay with 20# test Prestige Line it would break under any pressure, from a 1 pound fish to a hang up on any thing. It's pure junk thats all you can say. I replaced it with a very cheap braid and it out preformed Prestige by a 1000%. I gave the rest of the spool to my niece to make braceletts and i felt sorry for her having to work with that junk. I'm sorry I can't it 0 stars.

worst line ever

I spooled 4 rods on my boat, wouldn't cast and hard to pull off, stuck together like putty. They need to go back to the drawing board with this line.
