Before I went on the early may trip to the Green River, The "A" run just below Flaming Gorge dam, I was warned of two things. First that the weather might be miserable and second that the only hatch was midges. My old eyes don't allow me to tie midges anymore, so I bought this assortment. Best I can say is they worked! The weather the first day was just as miserable as predicted, but my fishing partner and I caught over 40 browns, bows and cuts that day, almost all of them on the midges. The seconday was much different on the same stretch of river. Warm, clear and windless! We caught twice as many fish, that day! Again, the midges were the best producers.
