Cabela's 800-Gram All-Leather Iron Ridge Hunting Boots -
With a name like Iron Ridge, you’d expect these boots to withstand all the abuse dished out during season after season of rugged hunting adventures. You’d also expect them to sport a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® lining for 100% protection against rain, snow and ground moisture. The uppers are crafted of richly oiled, waterproof full-grain leather. It will conquer battles with the most punishing rocks, brush, briars or blow-downs. The moisture-wicking lining pulls perspiration away from your feet so feet and socks stay dry on long treks over exhausting terrain. The polyurethane footbed adds cushioning, plus it can be removed for quick overnight drying. Goodyear® welt construction ensures long-wearing durability, permitting resoling when the time comes. The aggressive bob outsole offers the grabbing power needed to stay safely footed on a variety of surfaces, while a steel shank provides stability on uneven ground. Imported.

Very Warm for a Hiking Boot

I used to wear all sorts of winter boots when I ice fished...including the biggest Sorels. I typically have fished Northern Manitoba lakes and Southern Saskatchewan lakes. I am usually that guy that you see out there and wonder "who the heck would be out there in this weather?" Since getting these boots, I have not reverted back to winter boots. I even wear these boots for extended snowmobile trips. However, I am that guy that doesn't wear my gloves when most are shaking there hands because they're cold. For the price, you can't go wrong with these boots. Many have complained about fit and comfort; I cannot complain about either. I will mention that the boots I bought did chew up the laces within the first year. My new laces are better quality and I have not had a problem since.

Comfortable out of the box

I was looking for a good pair of medium insulated huntin/hiking boots to replace my wore out Wolverines. I gambled on the iron ridge boots and am real happy I did. These boots fit like they have been worn for years right out of the box. I've never had a boot I could take out of the box and hike 6-8 miles and not have sore feet afterward. I've put well over 100 miles on these boots in the two months since I bought them and they just keep getting better.

Montana worthy

I bought these boots because my outfitter told me I absolutely needed an air bob boot for the hunt. It took very little time to break them in and they performed perfectly. We were in snow most of the time and I didnt have any problems with traction. This boots is hands down the best value out there.

Awesome pair of boots

These boots are a great value and are great performers. My feet stayed dry and warm while out 15 deg temps while hunting. I'd buy them again.
