Cabela's Active Trail Gore-Tex Low Hikers Reviews:

Great Hikers!

Wore out my last pair of light weight hikers and decided to try a waterproof version this time. We have always found Cabelas brand products to be high quality, and these hikers are no exception! They are actually lighter than my old pair of hikers, and felt broke-in the second I put them on. I go through a lot of high, wet grass in the mornings moving animals and the waterproofing on these are excellent. I used to wear rubber boots until the dew burned off and then switched to hikers. Now I can wear these all day long, and they are much more comfortable than rubber boots! I would recommend these to anyone wanting a solid, dry pair of low hikers,

Ditto 2 other reviews!

This is a very well made lightweiight short boot/hiker. Summer before last I used them wet wade fishing on the Rio Grande River in Colorado many times as I did not have wading boots with me. Each trip after several hours they were saturated but dried quickly, ready for the next day! In lieu of the abuse stitching and leather still looked new enough to wear the next summer through for regular hiking as this time I remembered my wading boots. May well last a lifetime if you don't use them for wade fishing!

good buy, I have dry feet again.

This is my second pair of Cabela's shoes, my first I wore out. I tried two pair from a local sporting goods store and both leaked in less than a month. I hate to mail order footwear as I have a hard time getting a good fit. I got a 9 1/2, they are a bit big but am wearing extra socks as weather is getting colder. I will order a 1/2 size smaller next time for summer. GREAT shoes..

Great Hikers

These are true-to-size shoes, and have been worn enough to know I would purchase another pair again. They seem to be waterproof, as well.
